This has to be the stormiest wedding I have photographed ever. Exmouth weather had been playing up for the last few days and when Kristy and Todd got married on the 14th May 2011, we must have had at least 30 knots winds and the sky looked like it is going to bucket down any minute. The boys had constructed a wind break out of scafolding at the last minute which turned out to be very effective and the ceremony went without a hitch.
The sky was clearing up a bit but photos down the beach where pretty much impossible, so we headed for a some more sheltered area near the canals and the foot bridge.
It was great to see that Kristy and Todd were still happy, smiling, very much in love and didn’t get put off by the nasty weather. Back at reception everyone gathered inside the Yacht Club to listen to some great speeches and to view the cutting of the cake.
